Best child's dvd player

we don't have a tv and they have to use my laptop. Please can you advise what you think is most useful... a child's laptop or just a simple dvd player for them to watch movies on.

DD is nearly three and is allowed to watch a film, or part of a film a couple of times a week and I'd like to get her off my laptop!

TIA

Disney do a range of Kids DVD players (all in one units; like a laptop but not a laptop if you follow my drift).., they have a 7" screen and will support home burnt DVD's and Photo CD's. No Blu-Ray but for the size of screen it doesn't matter.

Very child friendly and will save your laptop!

They are about £100 (cheapest I've seen is £85 @ Tesco) and they do character alligned versions for Boys and Girls.., price depends on the version / character you want.

thanks papa N. Am going to go and have a look. must admit I'm not a huge fan of vastly branded products, but do need to get her off my laptop!

Np 120 - there are plenty of other versions out there but they aren't exactly child friendly (buttons wouldn't cope with sticky fingers and they could even come off and pose a health hazard).
