When DD was tiny I brought a load of muslins from ebay and they are really not at all soft (even thought have been washed and washed and dried in the tumble dryer 100s of times over the last 20months!) - fine for burping etc but now she has to take one to bed with her... she used to take any but now rejects all but the 2 very soft ones we have 'aquired' one is white and one is pink - I think we were told the pink one was from mothercare, but I can't find any in there in pink - do you have any really soft ones? If so where from as I want to buy a pack of pink for DD to have for bed and a pack of blue for bump - will use the old not so soft ones for burping etc!!

please share where your lovely muslins have come from!!

I bought some from Blooming Marvellous - this was 2 years ago, but if they still use the same material they have stayed soft - there was a pack of pink spriggy flowers/pink/white and they did a similar one in blue. these [http://www.bloomingmarvellous.co.uk/SearchList.aspx?term=muslin&language=en-GB muslins] are the current ones - the first pack looks most like what I had.

They do packs of pink ones in ASDA, I got the white versions whilst still pregnant but would think they are the same.
They super soft after a wash btw

Boots do nice ones in blue & pink but not the super cheapy ones, they're horrible. You can order packs of 10 in yellow blue and pink from mothercare's website I think.

Mine are super soft and lovely, but they are over 30 years old - they are the one that my nostalgic mum used for me, then returned to me when I was pg! Loon! But they were from Boots... in about 1970!

I got the first batch from John Lewis and they were rather small, but really, really soft. I then got some larger ones which would cover your shoulder nicely - but although they were a good size and cheaper - then weren't nearly as soft as the first lot.

I've had from Babies r us, they were fine and soft after a few washes. Second Boots and Asda, along with Mothercare ones, all fine. HTH

just another thought I found when using muslins that if I put them in a tumble drier with a drier sheet it made such a difference.

I'd second John Lewis - those are the softest ones we had, and we bought a stupid number.

Found DH using them to polish furniture the other day I was furious, particularly as I'm pg again and don't really want to have to buy even more.
