does anyone have a Ridgeback Scoot (balance bike?)

We want to get ds a balance bike for his second birthday. The Ridgeback Scoot looks nice, but I can't find anywhere two crucial pieces of information. What are the minimum/maximum seat heights and how much does it weigh? I would like to compare to the Islabike Rothan (3.8kg, 30-42cm height). Does anyone have one of these they could measure/weigh? Many thanks!

This is also known as the Ridgeback Zoom, apparently, and the info you need is here. The people at Helemill really know their stuff and are more than willing to help so def worth giving a call if you need more info. Looks like their price is a bit cheaper too! HTH.

We have the zooom from Helemill for ds2. We did look at the Rothan but as ds2 is 3.7yr we went for the zooom as the seat goes from 34 to 51cm (uses 2 seat posts for short legs and then longer ones)

In the end it came down to price and stock I think as it was a Christmas present.

It does weigh more than the Rothan but I can carry it relatively easily. It is 5kg.

I have a brand new Scoot Balance bike for sale in Green if you're interested. I bought two at Christmas for the children but my eldest is desperate for a 'proper' bike now (aged 3.5yrs) and Toby who was 2 in June has been riding hers happily for the last few months. We jsut never got round to getting his out! We are in Derbyshire though! x
