I'm looking for a playmat. DS is 4 mths and already has a playgym.
I just want a basic playmat to put on the floor but can't seem to find one anywhere - any ideas?

nannyjo · 05/07/2005 18:51

check on line, blooming marvelous i think had lovely big ones, quite pricey though

Just checked online - argos have a pastel coloured one. Babiesrus - one with big ugly animals. B-Marvellous one looks the best.

Not much choice - obviously they are not in vogue anymore!

Mine was from Boots.
Like an octopus and each leg thing had a different sound in it, like sand or a bell. Then in the middle there are 2 music bits on the eyes, and the lift up flaps had scrunchy paper sounds. And it came in a bag! Think it was £20 about 4 years ago.

Mothercare have them. The Tiny Love ones are popular with babies!

I found one in Tesco Extra today - under a tenner
