I'm sure this has been done before but I'm looking for somewhere that I can design a good quality photobook with a hardback cover where you can use your own picture as the cover image. I used to love Bob Books but since they changed their software I don't love them anymore.

We used Crewe photobooks for our Wedding and Honeymoon photobooks.

we use snapfish and they are pretty good and not too expensive

I also use snapfish, if you sign up, design your book then hang on before ordering they tend to email you offer codes for 50% off etc. I've managed to get my last 4 books half price.

SqueezyIsStartinAResolution · 13/01/2010 20:12

Apple iphoto has this option if you have a Mac. We had a honeymoon book done, really impressed with the quality.

TitchyWitch · 13/01/2010 20:18

HmmSleep, that is a good tip. I always end up faffing about ordering anyway.

I'm wondering if I can use this as an excuse to get a Mac though?!

I used Snapfish, and the books were lovely

Clayhead · 13/01/2010 20:21

I do what hmmSleep does with Snapfish - design my book and leave it saved until an offer comes, I haven't paid more than 50% for a couple of years! They are very efficient and the books are lovely.

Macdog · 13/01/2010 20:24

I used Photobox for doing one for my PIL silver wedding.
Very impressed with quality

Blackduck · 13/01/2010 20:30

Hi, any advice on how fast some of these services are? I used yophoto but it won't accept my payment and I want an album delivered to me before next weekend....are any of these guaranteed to deliver asap?? I can (painfully) do it all again, but just want the guarantee!! (Birthday pressie)

Macdog · 13/01/2010 20:34

I THINK Photobox came within a week, but it was a few months ago

Hulababy · 13/01/2010 20:38

I use Snapfish and Bonusprint, whoever has a special offer on at the time.

At the moment snapfsh has 25% off using happybook10

I have just ordered one last week. It is ready and posted, but waiting for RM as we seem to get no deliveries in the snow!

Print quality from snapfish came top in the gadgetshow reviews.

I have a second book ready and waiting for the next snapfish book offer t come up.

Hulababy · 13/01/2010 20:39

Blackduck normally 7-10 days IME, often shorter. But depends on RM posting (see below) Quicker is sent to Jessops to collect

Blackduck · 13/01/2010 20:41

Thanks ladies - it is a bummer - can't work out if it is the mac being difficult, but get as far as security pay on payment and the bloody thing hangs.......!

Hulababy · 13/01/2010 20:44

Bonusprint is currently 30% off photobooks

sowhatitsonlysnow · 13/01/2010 20:47

I use www.blurb.com

geordieminx · 13/01/2010 20:49

Photobox have been fab for us, we used them for calendars, and photobooks from wedding/honeymoon.

Usually take 5 days.

Ministerofdomesticfinance · 13/01/2010 23:14

I use Truprint. They are AMAZING. I ordered 3 days before christmas and they sent them in time for christmas. Beautifully done and so pleased with them. this is the 3rd year in the row I've used them
