Sledges - God help me, who is selling them???

I know, I know, I should have bought that one at the garden centre I saw when we bought the Xmas tree but DH gave me that look so I didn't push the issue.

Now we are forecast a veritable snow extravaganza and I am at a loss.

Any handy hints? I'm currently at work in central London but live in West London.

TIA.

Oooh!!...Halfords???

Are you near a Sports Direct? There's one in the Holborn area. DP just bought one there today.

I just did a search on halfords - and the nearest store with a sledge in stock is 468 miles away! Is this a record?!

Have you got a cost co near you? The Cardiff one had some fab ones last week

SixtyFootDoll · 05/01/2010 21:38

I traipsed around my local town today looking for one.
Didnt think of Costco! Damn!

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 05/01/2010 21:52

proper old fashioned style toy shops?

jollydiane · 05/01/2010 21:54

I brought a 'dust bin lid' type sledge from homebase. Not exactly what I wanted but should be fun.

Thanks Ladies - Sports direct on Oxford Street came up trumps! Thanks a million
