I just want a calendar in poster format which I can stick on a wall and write all my friends birthdays on. I don't want to spew every time I look at it.

Thanks for that - found one in dodo, though it's a bit pricey and is wipe-clean - not ideal so I'll keep looking.

Look what I found in ebay under "birthday calendar"!

For a moment I thought my 5yo DS had started a thread on here as only yesterday he looked at our family calendar (photos of flowers) and said "Why do our calendars have to always be so Yuk and girlie".

He does have a point though as my Mum buys one for us every year, which is great because we need and use it, but they are always a bit twee for my liking.

But, no, sorry haven't seen any decent ones around.

Actually we have it but haven't got it up yet because it doesn't really "go" with our house...

Why not do what I do? Make a list in word in a column format with headings for each month and the birthdays listed under it. Have this on your fridge and you will not forget.

Something like this:

January
Sam 10th
Mary 12th

February
Liz 3rd
Marc 10th

Etc
