Swaddling blanket help ...

DD is apparently the world's strongest baby and can escape her swaddle

i am using a receiving blanket but she can get her arms out and this is currently disturbing her sleep

i have got the jojomaman blanket but (i don't know if i am doing soemthing wrong) but she can get out of it in a nano second

she is 12 weeks old and i think we will be swaddling for a while longer

Have you tried a shawl or maybe she just hates being swaddled? My DD loved to be swaddled my DS detested it - sleeping bag for him all the way.

i think she does prefer it as when she gets her hands free it wakes her - she sucks on them, but it doesn't soothe her

hmmm ... DS loved his grobag too but i haven't got one that is suitable for her age

I was lucky enough to have 2 lovely shawls hand made for DD - wrapped her up tight in them and she loved it. Good luck though.

FWIW I put DS in a grobag at 4 days old - he was much happier then.

may invest in a grobag now ...

We had these and they were fab for the transiton from swaddle (couldn't escape) to grobag!
