Dishwashers - Miele v Bosch?

Very excited as we're finally getting a dishwasher. We're trying to pick one out of the following: Miele G1225SC which seems to be great but is double the price of the Bosch SRS45E32GB . Main difference seem to be that the Miele is quieter and it will be in the kitchen where I spend loads of time. What do people think?

We've just replaced our Bosch one with a Miele. We weren't terribly impressed with the Bosch one tbh (was a Classix one - their cheaper range, I think - so maybe that was why). It was forever going wrong and finally died after about 3.5 years.

Very happy with the Miele one, but only had it about 10 days. Much, much quieter and washes better than the Bosch one imho. Also ours has a fab cutlery tray at the top rather than the traditional basket at the bottom - better for cleaning and unloading I think.

is the Bosch one the slimline one? We have been looking at this Bosch one which is also quiet

p.s. the Bosch one I linked to has a cutlery tray at the top too.

If you can afford the Miele, I would go for that. My PILs have had a Miele for about 50 years, it is such a good machine.

The cutlery tray is great, our last kitchen had a Miele in it.

we have a slimline bosch and it seems to be pants wrt cleaning stuff! could be the way himself overstuffs it though.

We have a Miele with the cutlery tray at the top and it's fab. It is very quiet - sometimes can only tell it's on by looking at the light - and cleans really well.

Thanks everyone - we've gone for the Miele. Hopefully it will last years and cost very little per wash.
