Hi,

my MiL needed a new bobbin case for a Necchi Lydi 3 machine( I have no idea with sewing machines) She is getting on so I said I would search one out for her. Eventually have found a place who said becuase they are quite rare( possibly ancient:-) that it will cost £36!!!

Does anyone know anything about these things and any good websites. It just sounds a lot to me for such a tiny thing.
Its a bit of a long shot though if they are quite old machines.

I like a challenge but found very little with Google. I assume it's not the standard little bobbin case with the slot at the top and the little metal arm sticking up (IYSWIM!)
