ShooShoos?

DS is 11.5 months and starts nursery in a week. He can't walk yet but is starting to cruise. I have always put him in just socks. The nursery, however, has asked that we put him in soft shoes or slippers whilst there. I googled and came across Shooshoos - could they be the answer? I have also looked at Clarks, but their cruiser shoes seemed more like proper shoes, as in tougher looking IFKWIM,

Any advice gratefully received

ShooShoos or Inchblues are perfect - I wouldn't buy your DS 'proper' shoes (no matter what Clarks call them) until he can walk properly outside. Apart from the fact that some people think it can affect the foots development if you cram it into a shoe too early, it's a total waste of money because he'll grow out of them so fast and at £20 odd quid every 3 months, you really don't want to start that too soon!

Shooshoos are the best for little feet. I discovered them purely by accident at the baby show Earls court with ds3 and have never looked back. Great grip on the bottom and they can be washed. Great designs too. Good with to your wee boy with his start at nursery

Oh and plus they stay on and are realy easy to put on

I love shooshoos/inchblues etc (there are various other similar)

another option could be the slipper sock things from boots - same leather feet and currently half price.

Fab. Shooshoos is it then. Thank you.

I always found Shoo-shoes to be a bit 'baggy' and loose-fitting tbh. Robeez are excellent and even DD couldn't get them off. Snugglefeet are similar and cost around half the price of the others. Snugglefeet. They deliver really quickly too.

My dd has really chunky feet, and shooshoos were quite tight on her.. she has been wearing boots branded 'mini mode' slipper socks since crawling, they don't slip off and keep her feet warm too. they have a suedette sole, leather trimmed. no danger of them falling off anytime soon either..

half price in their sale at the mo, my local had loads! £6 down to £3
