We have a Britax Vigour for DS. Buggy clips on to frame to be rear facing or forward facing. Goes completely flat so fine from birth although we did mainly use the car seat which clips on too.
Am really pleased with it generally and would recommend it!

We have the bugaboo cameleon and love it.

The bit that starts off as a carrycot you just change the material part on the frame to make it into the buggy and I have found it great (DS 8mths now). I like how its rear facing but can change to forward when he's older.

Britax Vigour 3 or 4-wheel versions. Really easy to use and compatible with very good car seat too. Just make sure you get the 2009 version, as the previous version was only suitable from 6 months.

I'm looking at the mychoice from Mothercare. Similar to the iCandy but much cheaper. You can also change it into fwd facing mode as well.

thanks for the speedy replies - essence i like the look of the britax vigour 3 - i didn't realise it was from birth. great to know the seat lies flat. i like the look of the bee but i have tall dc's and after reading some reviews not sure how long it would last. i can't justify getting a cameleon as this will probably be our last dc!

The Loola Up is suitable from birth and can be rear or forward facing. We love it!

PurpleEglu · 19/12/2009 22:03

The bebeconfort loola can also be used from birth without carrycot

mummydarlingsausage · 19/12/2009 22:06

thanks - will check out the loola aswell. can a buggy board be used with the vigour 3 and loola?

Yep, we have a buggy board on the Loola and it works really well - DS1 stands sort of inside the handle, iyswim.

teutonia prams are rf from birth. they lie flat but with most european brand they recommend the carrycot. you can purchase a soft carrycot which changes into a footmuff. has a really long seat too-perfect for tall children. we have the spirit s3.

nicm · 19/12/2009 23:43

oh and they have their own buggy boards and a long adjustable handle that the toddler can stand under iykwim.
