DH would like a new camera (after years of relying on our phones - any recommendations gratefully received!

the sony one with anti shake - last year I got one for my dd2, it is easy to use and fits in a handbag

I've got a Canon Ixus and it's cracking. Tiny, but the photos are really fantastic quality imo

second vote for canon ixus. Get the best one you can afford, it's awesome.

Thank you folks that is really helpful ! DH is already expressing an interest in the Canon Ixus although we have already heard good things about Sony cameras too
