nintendo ds for 5yo girl? suitable games?

Does anyone out there have a 5 year old with a ds? My DD has wanted one for some time now. She has a (sometimes) annoying younger brother and another due any day now, so it'd be nice to get her something special. I've no idea what games are suitable for someone her age either, so any recommendations would be very gratefully received.

I have boys not girls so I can't give you any ideas for really girly ones but my DS2 (who is just 6) loved the Nintendogs game when he got his DS last Christmas. His (girl) friend also likes it too.

There are quite a few good animal ones but the Nintendogs requires the least amount of reading which at 5/6 might not come easily.

We have got our 5yo Dd one for Christmas.

She already has "I did it mum" that she plays on Dh's ds.

With her new ds she has Nintendogs, we have also got a Dora the explorer game and a Hannah Montana one.

The peppa pig one looks good too, there are also the ones where you can raise a baby, cat, dog etc.

I have a DS, but what about cooking mama games, my sims games.

my DD has got Peppa Pig game and one where you look after a cat and Alvin and Chipmunks.

TBH the games are for 3+ and are too easy for her but she doesnt play it much anyway.

Peppa Pig, cooking mama with initial help...we did borrow nintendogs and me and DD agreed that we would never buy it cos it was so bloody hard! How many dogs do you know who are too tired to be walked more than once every 3 days????????
