perfume for a 13 year old - suggestions?

My DSD has asked for perfume as her main present for xmas. She's mentioned various celebrity versions - Kylie I remember off the top of my head. Has anybody got any experience of any celeb named perfumes, or of buying perfume for young girls?

Also, it seems a bit small for a main present - any suggestions for making it a bit more exciting? Gift boxes I was thinking, but open to ideas...

Thanks

Boots have got quite a big range. My 10 year old niece is getting one of the Britney ones for christmas. Semi-chem quite often has good offers on perfume too.

Didn't I see pics in today's papers of teens getting into Peter Andre's new scent? - not sure if it's meant for girls/boys but it seemed like the girls were getting stuck in!

Gwen Stefani has the Harajuku lovers perfumes which have different scents and character bottles

yes, I really dislike most of the sickly sweet teenagey ones. Especially when combined with a 13 year old's inability to apply subtly..! Hmmm, intriguing about peter andre, will investigate...

Depends how much you want to spend. Have you seen the Jo Malone tester sets? I'll try and find a link for you....hang on.

If you can afford it, why not something by Chanel? Get her classy from an early age!!!!

My big brither gave me Chanel No 5 for my birthday when I was about 13 - I've never forgotten it. A wonderful 'growing up" moment.

Don't think it's a very suitable scent for a 13 year old, though!

Lolita Lempicka is quite nice for young girls too.

And J.Lo's live luxe.

Charlie do a pink in a cute bottle and the britney ones come in nice bottles and are quite cheap in boots and savers

Tommy Girl went down well when bought for a friend's daughter's 14th birthday.
