Do you have a play carpet? Where was it from and how much was it?

I want one of those rugs with the roads and stuff on - I've seen them in Elc for £20 ish but there isn't one near us and I don't know how much the delivery would be. The local toy shop has a nice one for £25 and I believe Ikea do one too.

Come and talk play carpets!

ikea do a great one for £10, although it has that irritating non-slip backing, which effectively means that I spend every moment of my entire life straightening out the bumps... it also gets stuck to the kids velcro shoes, which is very amusing apart from the fact it leads to more bumps for straightening out... suppose it would be great on floorboards though - we've got it on top of a carpet.

one of these, £3 at a car boot - new condition!
I stick it down with carpet tape (double sided) which stops it rucking up etc.

I've just been looking at that one, it would work out cheaper than the Ikea one once I've figured in petrol costs and stuff. Double sided sticky tape is top
tip too!

Hmm, I am far far away from you so collection is out. Will look into postage but it might be high 'cos it doesn't pack up very small.
