what age do you put baby on the activity play mats - the ones with the arch's???

I know they say there from birth - but seems a little young to put them under

I done this with both mine from about 4weeks when they started having more awake times usually around teatime which meant I could make the tea with baby gooing under the mat.

any tiem really. They might kick their legs in the air and touch something which will arouse their curiosity
