Ready steady cook smoothie maker?

Is it the same as the RSC slush maker derided by MN-ers on other threads? and as bad as the notorious popcorn/marshmallow makers?

We have been bought one for ds1's b/day and I wondered if we should return it (not sure where to mind you), but surely it must work, all it has to do is blitz fruit and yogurt?

Any thoughts?

Return it. They're all rubbish.

It's total rubbish; ours can't even manage a ripe banana, never-mind hard fruit such as strawberries. Also a complete pain to clean, as has a grill on the top to stop fingers being liquidised, and this stops the fruit chunks being ejected easily. I threw ours away once the initial interest wore off. Take it back if you can, and put the money towards a normal liquidiser.

Dont bother with it. Does nothing at all.
