Chairs Or Stools For Toddler Table?

I want to buy dd1 a toddler table for Christmas and this set has caught my eye:

However, I'm concerned that the set comes with stools rather than chairs. The plus for stools is that they may be easier to store, but ultimately I want it to be safe and comfortable for her to eat at / play with for the next couple or years, therefore chairs may be a better buy?

Any thoughts??

Hi you are right to think this as stools can easily be leant backwards off. However.. on a couple of occasions i have known my nieces/nephews to have chairs and then the back has buckled on the chair due to them becoming quite flimsy over time. Ultimately, whichever you choose there will be slight risks but with stools they should get used to positioning themselves properly after a few supervised attempts. Good luck with your choice and hope your child likes it x
