I currently have a Tefal compact and the plastic baskets are rubbish
I like the storage of the baskets though as they stack inside each other

What steamer do you have and is it any good?

Thank You

Just buy a cheap as chips bamboo one from a Chinese store and balance it over a apn of boiling water. Looks nicer too.

I have had 3 over the years

a freebee from La Redoute which was fine but just stopped working one day.

A cheap Hinari which again was fine but I can't remember why it stopped working

I then got a tefal aquatimer like this which didn't have a timer, you just filled up the water up to a certain level. It didn't have an on off switch either as well as not working very well, never got the same results as the cheapos I thought it was dangerous. I was given it by MIL who didn't get on with it either.

I used the first two all the time but gave up on the tefal and it ended up in the garage.
