If so how do you turn the bloody thing on? Is it the red phone button on the right hand side?

Yeah I rhink I have one of them

Yeah, hold the button down for a few seconds.

It is the most annoying phone I have ever used.

nappyaddict · 04/12/2009 23:40

Lol why's that I only just got mine but it seems that everything has a bit of a delay after you press the buttons.

Oh there are loads of things that are really annoying about it. Did you get it on Virgin contract?

When you are texting, the predictive text works really oddly.

It has a horrible scroll up/scroll down function on the touch screen.

Because it has no number buttons (because of the touch screen) sometimes you want to press a number but you are not on the right screen to do it.

I have not yet been able to work out how to delete messages (it says press seven but there is no bloody number seven to press)

On the standby screen it doesn't show you how much battery you have left, so it just dies without you realising.

When you are texting, it asks you to type in the number of the person you are texting (like anyone knows the actual numbers?) - you can then go through to a list of your contacts so you then scroll to find the name (if you want to select using a letter then you have to go through to yet another screen) but then when you select the contact it takes you back to the text and has the person's number, not the name, in the send box, so you always wonder 'did I just press Mum or Mary?'

I actually think mine is not working properly and keep meaning to ring to ask if I can change it, but who has time to ring Virgin when you are always on mn have kids to look after?

neenz · 05/12/2009 09:41

Well that's motivated me to ring them actually. Doing it now...

neenz · 05/12/2009 10:03

Well, they said I had 28 days when I took out the contract to say I didn't like the phone

BUT, after I explained some of the problems I was having with it, the kind man said there could be a design fault and he has said I can have a new phone

So they are ringing me next week to discuss what I can have.

So if you find you don't like it, nappyaddict, ring them in the first month and get it changed!

nappyaddict · 06/12/2009 11:01

I think I may ... I don't think I like touch screens after all And I'm a bugger for sending texts to the people I'm actually talking about so I think this phone could pretty disastrous for me!!
