Hair straighteners...which ones are the best?

DD1 wants some....she has a very cheap pair but she has thick,wavy hair with a kink.She needs some that will keep her hair sleek.Any recommendations....want to buy them for her for Christmas so anything up to £100 is ok.(not that we're loaded or anything )

GHDs every time, you can get them for under 100 here

I have FHIs. At the time I bought them they were better spec than GHDs (although they've probably caught up again by now) and cheaper. Hairdresser recommended them as she'd used both and preferred the FHIs.
