You'll find the price is fairly standard across the board (@£170 IIRC for the mini). Going with an iPod or mini is up to how many songs you want to load and what other misc. extras you may want, as well as the price consideration. I have an iPod mini and I love it, and I haven't even half filled it yet. You will bascially be comparing hard drive size and battery life when you determine which model.
