Shipping from USA to UK - HELP!

Not really sure if this is the right place for this but I am in a bit of a pickle, my 5 year old dd1 is insistent on a pretty pink skateboard from Santa this year and I cannot get my hands on one anywhere in the UK. I have however seen a really pretty one on Toysrus.com. Unfortunately they dont ship to the UK and I was hoping some of you wise mumsnetters might be able to tell me how I can buy it and have it shipped to UK safely and reliable in time for Santa!!

PLEASE HELP!!

pink skateboard

You will need to get it shipped to someone in the US and get them to ship it on to you. I think there is some federal reason why they can't ship out of the country.

Have you tried american ebay? A lot of their sellers will post to the uk.

Thanks for the like Disenchanted! I have seen a few online here but they all seem quite big and more for older girls. She is a really girly girl and to be honest I really dont know where she got the idea of a skateboard from - I just know she probably wont hardly bother with it but she has asked Santa for it and who be tide if he doesnt deliver! lol

Why don't you get her that one for £17 then if she does show a real interest in it get her a better one or the one you really like for her birthday?

I think I might just do that. Had a look around Ebay USA but nothing that catches my eye. Thanks!
