child table and chair set recommendation

I want to get a wee table and chair set for DD and my parents have said they will get it for her Christmas. I've looked online and thought the Ikea Latt one was good but they called into the store and said it was as thin as plywood so they weren't impressed. I've found one online at argos but can't go instore and see the quality. It does get good reviews on their site but just wanted to see if anyone had any other recommendations. I'd prefer a plain wooden set rather than plastic or highly decorated.
this is the argos one

I spent ages looking for a sturdy, modern table and chairs for DS room (he's nearly 4)that wouldnt break the bank.

Eventually settled on a set from Tesco direct.tesco.com/q/R.206-0758.aspx
which looks great and is easy to clean/ move around when we need to.
We waited until they had a sale and got the set for 20% off as well!

I've got this one in blue with green chairs. We had a wooden one but it got totally filthy/ scribbled on etc so I needed one that I could wipe clean.
