Does anyone have a memory foam mattress?
Are they any good for some one who changes positions alot in the night?
Would you recommend one?
Thanks

we have just got rid of an evil memory foam mattress- very comfy but stupidly cold when you first get in and then heats up and ends up far too hot- dh and i hated it, but then it may just be us, felt very hot and sweaty on it.

When we replaced our mattress about a year ago we'd got it into our heads that we wanted a memory foam one but the more we tried them out in shops the more we realised that it wasn't for us.

You do both need to lie down properly on them (in the shop) and bounce around a bit /toss and turn etc to get a feel as they are quite different.

In the end we opted for a pocket sprung mattress topped with memory foam.

I agree that they are hot though, even the ones just topped with memory foam.

Thanks for your replies.
I'm thinking it's not such a good idea now, as I hate being hot in bed.
I'll keep shopping around.
Thank you for the advice.
