hotpoint aquarius washer dryer? or a candy or hoover one?

Does anyone have one of those? Want one under 300, the hotpoint one is slightly over was wondering if it was worth spending the extra!

Does it have to be a washer/dryer - I have only heard bad things about them, whatever the make.

Yes, I don't have the room for both seperately and I need soft nappies for ds's poor bum!

our first washing machine was a hotpoint aquarius and it lasted us 10 years (with 2 kids) we had to call out the engineer once about 3 years ago because the brushes were worn and other than that no problems at all!

Anyone give advice on candy washer dryer? Takes 3 hours to dry, doesn't stop when it is dry. Is there a way to shorten drying time? Touch start button doesn't work all the time. Wish I hadn't bought it. Please help
