We have one in DD's room. It helps get her to bed at night but doesn't make her get up as late as I'd like!
We got our ones from Additions Direct for about £10.

just bought some today from Ikea! - spooky

yes my friend has them and they do work - hence my purchase - mine are narrow ones 80 cm and they were £10 they only go up a couple of pounds as they get bigger.

Argos here! they did have jungle type animals on them but they do the job fine! and yes they make the room black!

lilaclotus · 14/06/2005 20:47

my dd has blackout lining and it's been brilliant! her room is on the east and she gets the sun in her room very early in the mornings, but with the blackout lining she sleeps until 8.
i know argos does cheap blackout roller blinds in several colours, but i have no idea of the quality.

Got ours from Dunelm too.

MrsDoolittle · 15/06/2005 11:27

I am getting some lining in Dunelm, they have some great curtain patterns too. Really lovely ones for nursery rooms

SecondhandRose · 15/06/2005 11:53

Argos have 3 diff. sizes & several colours I played safe with ecru and yes they make a massive difference. Ours were £23 each and about 1.8m wide.

zammo · 15/06/2005 12:28

I masking taped some black card on to my ds' window two nights ago as an experiment (soooo very attractive) - kinda try before I buy thing. It sort of worked but I shall try it for a few more days...

mandyc66 · 15/06/2005 12:57

I know Index do them for about 20. Did someone say only 10 at Ikea? Think I will go there when I get a min!!!!!

bubbaloo · 15/06/2005 15:35
