Anyone know when the John Lewis sale starts?

I need to buy a mattress for dd's new bed and am hoping we can wait till the sale...

Strictly speaking they don't have one do they? But they do lots of "clearance bargains" at the same time as most other shops have sales. Not sure quite when that is though, sorry.

Clearance starts Saturday 2 July, 50% off selected lines in the shops and online, or so the flyer they sent says.

Thank you! We bought all ds's bedding incl duvet and sheets and things at the last sale and need to stock up again!
Not sure if they'll even have mattresses on offer but thought we might as well check first.
