Raynaud's disease? Just crap circulation? You need USB slippers!!!

My USB slippers arrived this morning and I am so happy:

Bought some off Ebay for a tenner

My feet are TOASTY and I'm not having to balance a hot water bottle between my knees for once.

OK, I admit it, I clicked on this ready to mock, point and laugh but now that I know there's a gloves option (and I suffer from Reynaulds in my hands) I'm quite interested

I can recommend staying in bed to keep warm!

I actually went back to bed 10mins after getting up as I felt ill and have only just got up, showered and dressed.

It was lovely and cosy MNing in bed with the laptop

I think this is what i started getting last winter.
Two fingers on my left hand went very numb and pale when cold.
Is this Reynauds? Will it get worse this year?

USB gloves sound great.
Also had chilblains last year for the first time!

Tortoise -that does sound like it. They go cold, white, numb the tingly as the sensation comes back. Varying amounts of pain/discomfort

I have to wear about 10 layers just to keep my body warm, have to wear very thick socks and slippers, woolly hat and gloves, have yet to find a decent fingerless pair tho.

I have an addiction to cups of tea, mainly to keep my hands warm.

Also tend to have at least 2 baths a day.

Norbert Yes that sounds like me fingers. So is it likely to get worse? Or isn't it that predictable?

Well last night I got a massive electric shock and now one slipper (and nearly one morningpaper) is dead

I am sending them back for a replacement (because I live on the edge)
