blood on matress help..!

no havent murdered dh!! honest its a question for a friend her dd had heavy period and leaked didnt tell her mum as imbarressed sigh,,so now dry ,,any ideas?

I find that a paste of Vanish Oxi Action (info on side of tub)on the stain helps to bring it out. Be careful not to get the fabric too wet though.
