Dh is a sucker for gimmicks and gadgets but is also in charge of bathtime. Any idea if these bucket things are any good?

It's here

I'll lend you mine for a small fee fastasleep. Oh and by the way lovin' the name.

Just wanted to add we also loved this! We have also lent it out to several friends with colicy babies and it seems to help! (something about having knees in armpits that eases the pain of wind? and forces it out )

We had one from jojmamanbebe and it fitted ds till about 11 months. It was no hard to wash all his creases etc as I found he was so relaxed in it he could be manouvered more easily than in the big bath!

FWIW- those plstic bath seats that they lie in in the big bath...my ds just kicked and wiggled so much he flew right out of it!

Worth every penny!

I had one and loved it. Used it until dd was around 5 months then she graduated to the big bath.

Now it is very useful for storing my totsbots LOL

Have to say I just used the sink for the first few weeks and then she came in with me in the bath. Dont believe in buying things that arent strictly necessary Am a TAG me

Like to use my money for important things like saving for her education and beer for me

One man's meat is another mans poison, or so "they" say.

And yes the water pressure helps the wind come up, hence happy baby

would like to add that dd is 5.5 mos and she loves her tummy tub. As she gets older she keeps finding more novel ways to keep mummy entertained watching her in her tummy tub. Yes it does help with wind too.

Ours became a laundry basket after about three goes.
It was rubbish.
But it's a great laundry basket. {grin}

AnnieSG · 03/10/2005 22:26

Argh, how humiliating...my grin didn't work!

I used a normal baby bath with a support in because i had a section. I set it up over the loo on the stand and filled it with the shower then drained straight into loo. Saved carrying bath about.

Once DS was too big for baby bath he used to have his baths in a big storage tub set up in the shower unit as we didn't have a bath. he loved it and i'm sure he would have loved a little bucket when he was small too.

I bathed dd in the kitchen sink for months and months. It is perfect - the right height/shape/depth, and she could look out of the window. I could keep everything at the right height and was good for my (dodgy( back).
could also do the washing up at the same time (joke!).
