We are moving house and I want to stop my contract with Sky. Is Freeview + any good and can you record on a hard disk like with Sky +?

No personal experience of Freeview+ boxes, though did see one or two in Asda a while aggo (before they moved everything around)

However, there are some Freeview PVR boxes from Humax with 320 GB hard drive. Richer Sounds has one for about 185 quid (with a five year 'care plan' - or 165 with 1 year guarantee).

No doubt other shops will have Humax or other PVRs for Freeview.

freeview+ is the same as a freeview PVR.
Basically the same as Sky+ - except you obviously only get the freeview channels.
I have 2, the older one doesn't have series link, whether all newer ones do I'm not sure.
