CHILD SAFE ANT POWDERS?!

We are riddled with bloody ants and they are driving me mad - with a 10 month old crawling the floor, i dont know what is safe to use. PLEASE help!

Just been to B & Q and got a spray called ANT STOP! It is children and pet safe so hopefully will do the trick - cost £4.47 for a 750ml bottle.
