M&P Luna raincover question....

my mate bought her luna about 9 months ago as brand new but the raincover which is the original M&P's is crap as the first 3 months, split holes started to appear and also hers feels stiff where ive got a Maclaren XT and mine is a softer feel compared to hers.

The luna raincover is badly ripped now and my mate wants to replace it even though she aint fussy on it..just wondered if the universal ones will cover it or not?

i would also like to know this!!lost my raincover and need another.
also can anyone explain the harness on a luna mix?? my ds can climb out as the harness just falls off his shoulders - am i doing something wrong?

i no longer need to know as my friend had now bought one off ebay.
