Vtech Kiddizoom camera

Is dd's best ever present- I wanted to get her a memory card for it- SD says the specs- bought a 2gb sd one, and the camera keeps saying "memory card not recognised". I spoke to a woman in Boots who said maybe the gb-age is too big, and I should get a smaller one- before I buy another useless one, has anyone successfully installed a memory card onto a kiddizoom?

I have put one into dd1's kiddizoom.

No idea what size it was - the maximum recommended in the instruction book I think. It's a Hewlitt Packard one, I think - got it in Waitrose of all places! as camera shops were all sold out...

anyway, it seems to work ok
