What age is Hello Kitty aimed at?

For my birthday, a relative got me a Hello Kitty bag and purse. I am 25. When i had unwrapped it, they said "You do still like hello kitty don't you?" Well, what can you say? (i once bought a notebook when i was 15)

Any way, i was thinking about regifting it to my cousin who will be 11 in November. Would this be the right age?

Any other suggestions also appreciated

my dd 6 loves hello kitty but i have no idea what age its aimed at, she has clothes with hello kitty on. No help really from me.

I feel a bit of a bitch for wanting to give it away. I know that lots of grown people like cartoon characters, but i am not one of them. I also got some Little miss naughty bubble bath, wondering who i can give that to.....

DD1 is 11 and has quite a lot of Hello Kitty crap shite stuff. She went to school in a Hello Kitty top today I think. It's very popular here in France with all ages it would appear.

There is a Hello Kitty World/Land/Disneyland type place in Japan I believe.

Pippel, my DD2 (aged nearly 5) informed me today that she wants a 'Sharpay' bedroom, as in her off High School Musical. I'd rather Hello Kitty TBH!

She wants 'ladybirds' as a decorative theme in the bedroom.

The problem is that she has to share with DD2, age 3, who wants all Dora the Explorer.
