Waterproof, breathable all weather jacket for school/bike run?

What do you reccommend? I'll be cycling and busing it in rain, sleet and snow!

I won't want anything too hot, it's got to be breathable so i'm comfortable in it. I'd love a nice bright colour too.

What do you think?

i have a fab crag hoppers one,had it 2 yrs and it still looks like new,
i got it from tkmaxx for about £20 (instead of £60)

If you are not too fashion conscious get a cycling cape - I got one at lidl, they might have capes this week, it is brilliant has got me through two winters on my bike. It is not great on windy days, but still better than any jacket. Was about £6 or £7.
