What size pebbles do I need to avoid cats toilet. Please help.

I'm thinking of putting down some pebbles in my garden and was wondering what size I need to get to avoid the local cats using them as a toilet.
Anyone know?

Hm - no guarantees - our pebbles are quite big but next-door's cats crapped there once or twice having strolled in expecting their usual toilet facilities and been caught short.
However, having said that, ours are grape-sized and usually clean. (I think pea-sized are dodgy.) HTH

pea-size are def a big no no! We have them and the neighbourhood cats use the front of our house as a cat litter.
