Independent shoe shop in Central London?

Can anyone recommend one? I have to go to London this week anyway, and DD needs new shoes (first walkers) urgently as she has outgrown her cruisers.
I hate Clarks, DD has v small feet and there is only a tiny range in her size. I'm hoping to find something different - and maybe cheaper too.

Not central London, but if you are brave enough to venture south of the river, Biff in Dulwich has a great selection of brands, and the staff are wonderful.
