I think there is a similar one in the Argos catalogue for £299 but all paddling pools etc have 20% off this weekend so this would make them about £239. Wish I had room for one.

highlander · 28/05/2005 22:38

OMG, I have to have one! Not for DS though, he's only 8 months

jampots · 28/05/2005 22:47

yes we want one too!!!!

tiddlypom · 28/05/2005 22:47

Dd wants one of those (of course), or just a big inflatable pool thing. I might even consider the latter except that I can't believe it would last, being inflatable - doesn't it just get holes?

Jayzmummy · 28/05/2005 22:50

Want one, want one. Have to have one!!!

stitch · 28/05/2005 22:58

inflatable stuff tends to last at least a summer. though you should be able to get a few years out of it if you take care of it which we didnt
i actually dont want one at all, as i know that by the time i have it all set up, the kids will be bored of it. just stupid practical reasons like that.
course i would love to have a friend who had this, and could go visit her after she had set it up!

JoolsToo · 28/05/2005 22:59

who's going to blow it up though?

tiddlypom · 28/05/2005 23:00

Good idea, stitch - get a friend to buy one! One summer is too short in my book.

Milliways · 28/05/2005 23:01

Or where would you store it once deflated? They never go back in the box!

OP posts:
stitch · 28/05/2005 23:03

exactly, thats why they have to reduce the price etc, coz though we all want one, we wont buy one

If I had one of those I'd be able to see into the every garden in my street before I descended, whooping, into the pool below. Downside would be that everyone in the street would be able to see me in my swimmers, which wouldn't be a pleasant sight.
Kids would be entertained for about 10 minutes then troop indoors to spread out the toy car collection (again).
On balance, I think I'll leave it in the shop.
