DD (7), and DS1 (5) too for that matter, desparately need more storage space - at the moment everything is crammed into drawers. I'd like a decent, solid wardrobe which they'll be able to open and put stuff away/take stuff out by themselve but those I've seen always seem to have the rail too high.

Anyone got any ideas?

A lot of the Ikea ones have fully adjustable rails so that you can put it low enough for them to reach. If it has a shelf too you could put this above the rail and (if you wanted to) store stuff you don't want them to reach.
