Kitchen knives that are safe for children ... have I imagined this?

A friend told me that all her children help with cooking and that they have these special knives that are serrated so it is more difficult to cut themselves. It sounded like the knives were designed wiht children in mind. She's on a long holiday so I can't ask her but does this ring any bells with anyone?

Thanks!

Yep - when I saw the title I immediately thought that Pampered Chef do them...and surprisingly for Pampered Chef they aren't expensive...

the pampered chef one is FAB. Only thing I have ever bought from them. Left handed 3 yo cuts everything from courgettes to cake and cheese with it. Would be really hard to cut yourself with it.

Gosh.

I just showed DS how to use a normal sharp knife carefully.
