Bloody @£$%*&@£$%% P&T

4th friggin puncture since September last year.

I've tried the gloopy slime crap and, well, it's a pile of poo.

I'm going to ring up Babies R Us and demand a refund.

What should I get instead?

What's the Out and About Nipper double like?
Or will I be shooting myself in the foot buying another pram with pneumatic tyres?

My Bugaboo has never ever had a puncture and I've never ever had to pump up the tyres - it's 4 years old!

It's such a shame because I love my P&T. Mind you, the shopping basket bit annoys me slightly and you can't hang anything on it. Sod it, it's crap.

Please help! I'm tearing my hair out

The Baby Jogger mini's (single or double)are not allowed to have a price or be sold online as they class it as a premium product and don't want to encourage price cutting but you can order over the phone or in stores.

Fruitbat...you won't get a refund for punctures.

You need to look at the tyres, run your finger inside to see if there is still a bit of thorn etc poking into it and duffing up all your new inners.

Zips I can understand but punctures are not dependant on the buggy, just the tyres. They might send you a new set of tyres. That would be justified. But you might have to sell your P&T yourself.

Cargirl is v wise on this stuff

I love my bjcm - got a plain black one from kiddicare on special offer for only £250 (plus raincover)

just looked and sadly its not that price anymore, the babybarn also did it for £310 but with free raincover.

you can read my review on kiddicare here

TamTam29 · 12/08/2009 21:53

kellyatbabyguds, i found loads of websites displaying the price and selling BJCM online!

WinomoreTheFruitbat · 17/08/2009 09:39

I've bought the bjmc from Lullaboobaby got it for £300 with raincover. Really lovely service, and it was delivered for free the next day

Taking it out for the first time today
I've discovered I can also get a buggy board on it, woohoo!

I've put P&T on Ebay as, like FlightHattendant says, I can't get a refund.

Hopefully will get a good price I've put it on as buy it now or make an offer. However, a very cheeky person offered £150 for it I very politely told them to get real I wouldn't let it go for that price

New inner tubes and off-road tyres.

Better still - sell and get a mountain buggy

AvadaKedavra · 23/08/2009 10:10

Buggyboards do not work well on BJCM (single or double) they do fit on the axle yes but there's not enough room under the handle to get your child's head through.
