Looking for cabin bed that will fit in a box room with a bulkhead

My sis has moved today and the 3rd bedroom is very small and has the stair bulkhead in it.My dad managed to get her bed into the space by sawing the end off and fitting it to the end of the bulkhead with brackets as it was too long to just slot in.

Looking at it, if she could get a cabin bed that sits at the same height of the bulkhead she could have drawers/storage underneath as there is no storage space elsewhere

any ideas?anyone had same problem?

yes there is somewhere that custom makes them at a reasonable cost, will go and hunt for them

just buy a slide and stick a matress on it with a seat belt

www.pine-design.co.uk/index.html these guys will custom make something for you inexpensively.

You could get a shorty loft bed

We have that problem but have set it up so that the bed is built in to sit on bulk head and with a cupboard underneath. It was the original design in a number of houses here. A lot of people have since removed and done other things but we find it works well.
