do you have wall mounted taps?

just ordered most of my new bathroom, but couldn't decide on taps!
i want wall-mounted but dp thinks too much effort involved in fixing them

were yours a pain to install? could my dad do them or would we need a professional? do you love them or hate them?

Don't you have to build a false wall to hide the pipework? I would think you'd need to be quite good at DIY to get it right - and not mind losing a couple of inches off the room...

no you just have to have a cavity behind the wall, which i think we have anyway

We have them in the utility room, exposed pipes and all. They are screwed in to the tiles. Very handy.

I was thinking of my own house where all the walls are solid (well apart from where they are crumbling!). Yes, would be more straightforward with a stud wall.

ahh yes, would be a nightmare with solid walls lol
