Ikea PAX wardrobe system. Is there an equivalent priced off the peg system available which is not as tall ?

I'm too cheap to have dressing room units specially made and wanted to do it with Ikea PAX but the dressing room ceiling is too low for them (PAX are 235cm tall, ceiling is 215cm tall).

Ideally I'd like the units to be 210cm tall and flexible as to how the inside is done, like PAX with endless choices of rails/racks/drawers and whatnot.

you do get pax that are 201 height.

As metatron says, most of them are available in 201cm heights too, I think it is one of the drop down box options on the item page.

Ok, I may be being blind here (again) but they don't seem to do the corner wardrobes in the 210 height. Grrr.

You are right, the corner add on unit is only in 236 - very strange, could you call your local store and check with them?

I'll be going to Ikea to buy them anyway so will ask a real person when I get there. I was just trying to use the website to price it up really. Seems silly to offer normal wardrobes at 201 and not corner ones.

It does but Ikea are a law unto themselves - best to check before you go if that is what you really need!

If you wanted a corner unit for about using a double unit one way and block one door hole with the side of another wardrobe IYSWIM

The hanging bar can still go the whole length and use that bit for clothes you dont wear that often.

They do most of the Pax frames in 201, apart from the one I need in the colour I need
