Never used them but a friend with twins swore by a swim seat (always supervised of course) provided the child can sit up.

have never used a bath seat. at that age i sit them in the sink with towels folded over all the hard surfaces to cushion in case they do slip. probably not what you want to hear but it saves a lot of back ache!

As soon as bub can sit you can move back into baby bath sitting in the normal bath. You can fill it up nice and deep, they don't really have anywhere to slip, dd (14mths) really enjoys hers.

Never bothered with the expense of a seat - either DH or myself used to get in!, saved on backache and gives you some nice Bonding time

I borrowed one of these from a friend to try it. DD got stuck in it and it was difficult to extract her. I thought it was dangerous and never tried again.

Got one 2nd hand . Think it was by Safety First.
