Im looking into the phill & teds for when my second arrives but i cant seem to find anything about being able to protect the baby from the wind when laid flat. It seems nice that its open so u can see the baby but i will be concerned about the cold from the wind as mine is due in the winter.

Is there anything other than using the rain cover as not alot of good when toddler is sitting on the top if its not raining???

If the baby is in the coocoon, the sides of the phil and ted will protect the baby - if you cover the back aswell, he will be in a little dark case. I really don't think you will need wind protectoer - just put a hat on your baby.

Yes you get a clear plastic bit that goes on the back, should come with the pushchair if bought new.

Thanks Cargirl.

Lynettescavo, i get what your saying for when there is the other seat on top, but when im using without the top seat it looks like it will be abit open to the elements, especially as i live somewhere where it gets extremely cold in the winter.
