I have tried Budgens, Morrisons and Ocado. Ocado says "discontinued"!!!! Have 2 finger Kitkats been ditched? They're much more convenient for rationing choc to greedy kids.... Anyone else had a problem getting them?

no idea about them, but completely covered jaffa cakes seem to have gone as well.

suzywong · 22/05/2005 16:04

where's the Morrisons in NW London - has that Safeway in Camden Changed over
( you know how I like to keep abreast)

SueW · 22/05/2005 16:39

Hmm, they sold a billion 2 finger bars (300million 4 finger) last year. Doesn't sound like something they'd want to stop selling.

See here

Davros · 22/05/2005 18:07

yes suzie, its still crap but nearby so i find myself in there mutering and tuttering!

oh sue, with all these facts at my "finger" - tips, i am going to be the talk of the town at the next party

Davros · 23/05/2005 17:52

A billion 2 finger bars? At least half of that was eaten in this house! Maybe they are repackaging or relaunching but you'd think they'd manage to overlap stock, grrrrr!

Sainsburys still do their own version ("Double Take"} in twin bars. They're rather nice - especially the mint ones. But I am NOT thinking about chocolate at the moment - I have special outing to London on Friday which I would like to look svelte for.
No, no, no!

cupcakes · 23/05/2005 18:38

damn - I just had to eat one to check. Actually the choc isn't as nice as kitkats. We have mini kitkat chunkys which I buy in a bag from the market for £1. Maybe they're trying to push those at the lunchbox market.

I bought a single one in woolworths a couple of weeks ago.

Davros · 23/05/2005 21:43

Yes you can get Chunkies no prob. I am talking about multi-packs, usually something like 9 2finger or 6 4finger...... iths a mystherwy to quote Toyah

SleepyJess · 23/05/2005 21:45

I think I bought them all 3 weeks ago for a party of 140 children (for a community project launch)

PinkFluffPudding · 23/05/2005 21:46

Eh? Just been sitting here furtively eating a two finger KitKat Caramac (out of a multipack too no less.) Mine came from Tesco or Sainsbury, i forget where i went the week b4 last.

Hazellnut · 24/05/2005 11:28

Sorry I meant a two fingered variety, rather than the single chunky one - think I put single as in, not in a multipack, can't remember now !! But if its multipacks your after....

Davros · 24/05/2005 13:36

They're back in Budgens, hooray! But Ocado still says "Discontinued"......
No, I haven't got better things to think about

milge · 24/05/2005 23:03

They were in my local sainsburys this pm, all flavours, and multi packs too, bought an 18 pack.
